Several Milwaukee Brewers baseball players went to watch the Green Bay Packers football game on September 11. The Packers played against the Washington Commanders at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. The Brewers players who attended were Brice Turang, Sal Frelick, Caleb Durbin, Andrew Vaughn, Erick Fedde and Joey Ortiz. Joey Ortiz, who was already a Packers fan before joining the Brewers wore a special white cheesehead hat.
These white hats were given out because the Packers were wearing all-white uniforms for this game. He also wore a white Micah Parsons jersey. Caleb Durbin also had a white cheesehead. Both Ortiz and Durbin had their names written on their hats. Interestingly, Brice Turang has a family connection to the opposing team – his sister Brianna is married to Tress Way, who is the Commanders’ punter.
They met while both were athletes at the University of Oklahoma. In a related event, former Packers president Mark Murphy will throw the first pitch at the Brewers’ baseball game on September 13 at American Family Field. The Brewers start playing a series against the St. Louis Cardinals on September 12.

The Packers had a good season last year, winning 11 games. They recently made their team stronger by trading for star defender Micah Parsons. Packers WR Reed Injured
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love made an amazing throw that went 39 yards to teammate Jayden Reed. The pass would have scored points, but officials called a penalty that canceled it out. Love showed great skill by avoiding defenders & throwing a perfect pass to Reed near the end zone. Unfortunately, Reed got hurt during this play and might not return to the game. Love is playing much better this year compared to before.

To keep improving, he needs to throw more accurate passes and avoid throwing the ball to opposing players. Even though this particular play didn’t count and the team failed to score when Love missed his target on fourth down, it still showed his growing talent. In another game Dallas Cowboys player Micah Parsons gave the Washington team trouble early on. He forced their quarterback Jayden Daniels to run away from pressure, leading to a tackle for a loss. Then on the next play Parsons got so close to Daniels that he had to throw the ball quickly, resulting in a failed attempt to get a first down.
